SS9014 Transistor Explained / Description:
SS9014 is a widely used NPN silicon BJT transistor. This is a low noise high gain transistor, the maximum DC current gain of the transistor is 1000. The high gain and low noise feature makes this transistor ideal to use in audio pre amplification or to amplify a very low level of audio to high level with noise filtration. It can also be used to amplify any type of small or low level signal to high level. Moreover it can also perform well in RF circuits under 150MHz. The max collector dissipation of 400mW also makes it capable to drive a small 2 to 3 inch 4 Ohms or 8Ohms speaker.
On the other hand the max collector current of the transistor is 100mA due to which it can be used to drive loads under 100mA. For example LEDs, relays, high power transistors, ICs etc.
Where We Can Use it & How to Use:
The SS9014 is designed to use for low noise and hi gain audio preamplifier circuits but it can also be used to amplify any type of low gain signals. Moreover it can also be used as audio amplifier or in audio amplifier stages. But it is also capable to use as a switch for driving load of 45V and 100mA. The transistor can be used or wired as a normal BJT transistor.

How to Safely Long Run in a Circuit:
Getting long term performance with this SS9014 it is suggested to not drive load of more than 100mA and 45V through this transistor, for better performance always stay 20% below from the maximum ratings. Always use a suitable base resistor and do no operate or store in temperature below -55 centigrade and above +150 centigrade.
