Safe Operating Guidelines

For long term good performance the designer or user must follow these guidelines. First of all it is important to not drive this device to its absolute maximum ratings and always stay 20% below form its max ratings. So according to this guideline, the maximum collector-emitter voltage is 300V therefore do not drive load of more than 240V, the maximum collector current 500mA therefore do not drive load of more than 400mA, and always store or operate the transistor at temperature above 55°C and below 150°C.
